Four Star welcomes customer pick-up orders. We have complete state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate all size orders, from station wagons to 53 ft. trailers. To pick up your order direct at our shipping docks, just specify so when placing your order. Our traffic department will contact you one week prior to your planned ship week to schedule a convenient pick up date and time. The customer pick up loading area is a temperature controlled greenhouse environment to help protect your plants during pickup. We'' help you load your truck and get you on your way quickly.

Providing an indoor temperature controlled environment in which to load smaller vehicles with plants is a very important service we provide our customers.
Your order, complete with branded variety tags will be waiting for you when you arrive (along with a friendly smile, and how about a hot cup of coffee)

Our shipping docks can accommodate even the largest trucks to quickly load larger orders and have your truck off and rolling with quality liners.

This is our favorite shipping method because we know it saves a great deal of money on freight expenses for you, but also gives us the opportunity to meet our customer face-to-face and gain a better understanding of your needs.

Finding us is easy! Located near many major areas
- 35 miles from Ann Arbor, Michigan (approx: 43 minute drive)
- 37 miles from Detroit, Michigan (approx: 43 minute drive)
- 36 miles from Toledo, Ohio (approx: 41 minute drive)
- 23 miles from Dundee, better known for Cabela's (approx: 35 minute drive) Cabela's has become the number one attraction in Michigan. If your love the outdoors or just want to have an amazing retail experience, plan on stopping off to Cabela's while you're in the area. If you're picking up plant material, we would recommend visiting Cabela's before coming to Four Star...you might just not want to leave and we would hate to see plant material sitting in a vehicle for hours! On the flip-side, if you go to Cabela's first, please don't forget that you have plant material waiting for you at Four Star. It's obviously important that you are on time for your customer pickup ...hmmmmmmmm... maybe I should not have mentioned Cabela's??


From The South
I-75 North to I-275 North to exit 2 (Telegraph Road Exit). Stay to the right heading North on Telegraph Road. Drive approx. 1 mile, turn West (left) on Sigler Road. Drive approx. 1 mile. Sigler Road location is on the North (right) side just past the expressway overpass.
To continue to our Indian Trails location (main office)...turn North (right) onto Calkins Road just past first location. Drive approx. ¼ mile, Turn East (right) onto Indian Trails Road. Office entrance is immediately On the left.
From The North
I-275 to Exit 5 (Carleton-South Rockwood Road Exit) Take a right off of the exit ramp, and then an immediate left onto Calkins Road. Second cross road will be Indian Trails Road (approx. 1.5 miles) Main office is located on the Northeast Corner (left) of Indian Trails and Calkins.
Please note: Part of Calkins Road can often times be rather bumpy as a section is a dirt road. To avoid this continue on I-275 to exit 2 and follow the directions as if you were coming from the south from that point.
To continue to our Sigler Road location (shipping/open house location) Stay South on Calkins one more block to Sigler Road, turn left. Greenhouse immediately on South side (left).

Our new program is based on regulated, scheduled ship dates by zone. To take full advantage of this program may require that you plan a little differently, in order to utilize deliveries from Four Star on these weeks. We hope that this makes planning easier while taking full advantage of the growing season for your particular zone.

Order Deadlines / Definitions:
Standard Order = An order received in our office no later than the Tuesday by 4:30 p.m. E.S.T. preceding the desired ship week.
Add On Order = An order received in our office after the standard order cutoff , but no later than the Monday of the desired ship week at 12:00 p.m. noon - E.S.T.
